Care on the Fairways Angus Glen Annual Golf Tournament
June 4, 2010

The Alzheimer’s Foundation for Caregiving in Canada is pleased to announce its first “Care on the Fairways” Angus Glen Golf Tournament at the legendary Angus Glen Golf Course. This stellar location has made its mark on the world of golf, it being the only golf club in North America to host a national Championship on each of its courses. Angus Glen has been the host of the BMO Canadian Women’s Open (2001), the Telus Skins Game (2001,) the Bell Canadian Open (2002) and the Canadian Open (2007).
The Golf tournament will help the Alzheimer’s Foundation for Caregiving in Canada provide optimal care for the approximately half a million Canadians with Alzheimer’s disease, and to their caregivers and families through its member organizations. As the incidence of this heartbreaking brain disorder continues to escalate – expected to double in 20 years, AFCC and its member organizations are facing unprecedented demand to deliver hands-on programs that meet the educational, emotional, practical and social needs of families across Canada.
Please contact the AFCC at 1-877-321-2594 ext. 285 or president@alzfdn.ca to answer any questions you may have.
